Deep- Space Objects (DSO) include any astronomical object that is not an individual star or part of our Solar System. This includes but is not limited to bright (emission and reflection) and dark nebulae, planetary nebulae, supernova remnants , integrated flux nebulae (IFN), etc
I refer to the objects by their common name (e.g.Crab nebula, Bubble nebula, etc.), as well as their official catalogue and designation (e.g. IC, LDN, LBN, Sh2, NGC, Messier, etc.).
